Meet Dr. Robertson
Originally from Gananoque, Ontario, Dr. Taylor Robertson was drawn to oral and maxillofacial surgery because of the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through advanced procedures and specialized care.
Dr. Robertson joined Upstate Oral Surgery & Dental Implants in September 2026. He was looking for a busy, patient-focused practice close to home, led by compassionate doctors who shared his approach to care. After several conversations with Dr. Curtis, he felt Upstate was an excellent fit.
For Dr. Robertson, the most rewarding part of his profession is seeing the tangible improvement treatment can make in a patient’s health and quality of life. He takes time to explain each stage of care, from consultation and treatment through recovery. Together with the welcoming Upstate team and available anesthesia options, he works to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their experience.
Education and Residency
Dr. Robertson earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2013. He then attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2022.
He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2026. His advanced training prepared him to diagnose and treat a broad range of oral and maxillofacial conditions using modern surgical and anesthesia techniques.

Outside of Work
Outside the office, Dr. Robertson enjoys golfing, spending time on the St. Lawrence River, and sharing in the interests and activities of his wife and children.
