Restore Your Smile and Confidence
Dr. Curtis is committed to helping you achieve the smile and the confidence you’ve always wanted. The team at Upstate Oral Surgery & Dental Implants wants you to live a happy, healthy life without the fear of missing or failing teeth holding you back, not to mention the health risks that can accompany them. Dr. Curtis is skillfully experienced in replacing a single tooth, multiple missing teeth, and even an entire row of teeth using the full-arch restoration method. No matter which procedure you are undergoing with us, you can rest assured that your care is our top priority.
Here are the most common options for tooth replacement:
- Dental implants. Dental implants can be used to replace any number of teeth. An implant post is used to fuse with the jaw bone, much like a natural tooth root, which also supports the jaw bone and protects it from bone atrophy. Dental implants are permanent and indistinguishable from natural teeth. They are maintained like natural teeth and can last a lifetime with regular brushing and flossing, not to mention restoring your ability to smile and eat confidently again. We encourage you to visit our Dental Implants and Dental Implants FAQ pages to learn more.
- Full-arch restoration. Full-arch restoration procedures replace an entire upper or lower arch of teeth at one time, offering the permanence and oral health benefits of dental implants. This can be done with as few as 4 dental implant posts, which will enable you to leave our office with an entire row of healthy and natural-looking teeth.
- Bridges. Bridges are traditional tooth replacements for one or more teeth that are next to each other. The healthy teeth beside the missing teeth are ground down for the bridge to be placed and stabilized. This type of treatment requires a replacement after a few years.
- Full or partial dentures. Dentures are relatively inexpensive, and some patients prefer them because they are removable. However, most patients find dentures to be uncomfortable, clunky, and embarrassing. Dentures require adjustments by your dentist and will also require replacements after several years. They must be cleaned outside of the mouth in special solutions, which isn’t something needed to care for implants.
If you are missing one or more teeth and are looking for a solution that will last a lifetime, Upstate Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is here to help.
